Guides

AI video generator, by niche

The same generator behaves very differently depending on what you point it at. A horror short and a facts short want opposite lengths, opposite voices and opposite pacing — so each of these 12 guides covers one niche properly: the format that works, the settings to start from, a prompt you can paste, and what one video actually costs in credits.

Pick a niche

What every one of them has in common

One pipeline, five stepsA prompt becomes a script, the script is split into scenes, an image is generated for each scene, a voice reads the narration, and the whole thing composites into an MP4 — with captions cut to the measured timing of the recorded speech. If you already have a script, paste it and skip the first step.
Two kinds of video, and they are not interchangeableMost niches here use the film pipeline above — illustrated scenes with narration, 30 to 180 seconds. AI ASMR and AI POV need real generated motion instead, so they use the AI Video Generator: a few seconds of actual video from an engine, with sound on the engines that produce it.
You review everythingA video series can generate on a schedule, but publishing is a decision you make per video. Castmint uploads to your connected YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts from the Growth plan — when you tell it to.
Real limits, stated up frontNo face swap, no voice cloning, and no photograph of a real person without your recorded confirmation that you may use their likeness. Those are limits in the code, not just in the terms — the full list is on what Castmint does.

Frequently asked questions

Which niche should I pick?

The one you can produce forty of without running out of ideas. Every niche on this list has a working audience, so the deciding factor is your own supply of material, not the size of the category. If you are undecided, start with the cheapest format to test — a 30-second motivation or facts video is 10 credits.

Do I need to appear on camera or record my voice?

No. Castmint generates the scenes from your script and reads the narration with a synthetic voice you choose from a fixed set. There is no camera, no microphone and no voice cloning — you cannot upload a recording and have a particular person's voice reproduced.

How much does one video cost?

Films are priced by length: 10 credits for 30 seconds, 20 for a minute, 40 for two and 60 for three, plus 5 for a generated music bed. AI video clips are priced per second on their own engine's rate, from about 30 credits for a ten-second clip on a budget engine. Plans and credit allowances are on the pricing page.

Can Castmint post the videos for me?

It can upload a finished video to your connected YouTube, TikTok or Instagram account, from the Growth plan up — but you press the button. Fully hands-off publishing is deliberately switched off in the product; nothing leaves your account without you looking at it first.
