Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the permitted ways of using the CASTMINT Application — a platform that generates short video content using artificial intelligence (script, image, voiceover, editing) and enables its publication on third-party services. The Policy forms an integral supplement to the Terms and Conditions; in the event of any discrepancy regarding prohibited content, the provisions of this Policy prevail.

The Policy is binding on every User, regardless of plan. The User bears sole responsibility for the content they create, upload and publish through the Application.

1. Prohibited content and uses

It is prohibited to use the Application to create, process or publish, in particular:

  • deepfakes and any content impersonating real persons (including imitation of a person’s voice, face or statements) that suggests a person said or did something that did not take place;
  • content using the likeness, voice or data of a natural person without that person’s valid and prior consent;
  • content of a sexual or pornographic nature (NSFW); any content depicting minors in a sexual context and any intimate content created without the consent of the person depicted are strictly prohibited;
  • political and electoral content, including campaigning, campaign materials and content targeting candidates, parties or electoral processes;
  • content intended for automated publication on third-party services (including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) in a manner that breaches the terms or rules of those platforms, including rules on spam and automation.

It is further prohibited to use the Application for content or activities that:

  • are unlawful or infringe the rights of third parties (including copyright, trademarks and personal rights);
  • incite hatred, violence, discrimination or harassment, or are defamatory;
  • are misleading or deceptive, including disinformation, scams and false endorsements;
  • circumvent the Application’s safeguards or filters, or involve the use of bots, scripts and automation tools in a manner not permitted under the Terms of Use.

2. Labelling of AI-generated content

Content created in the Application is produced with the involvement of AI systems. In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), the User is obliged to ensure appropriate labelling of AI-generated or AI-modified content to the extent required when it is published or disseminated.

3. Content moderation and reporting violations

The Service Provider applies content moderation measures. Violations of this Policy may be reported to support@castmint.app — the report should identify the content in question and describe the violation. Reports are handled without undue delay, and the reporting User and, where possible, the User whose content is concerned are informed of the decision taken.

4. Consequences of a violation

In the event of a violation of the Policy, the Service Provider may, in proportion to the severity of the violation: remove or block content, restrict functionality, suspend or close the Account and — where required by law — notify the competent authorities. These measures are without prejudice to the rights available to the Service Provider under the Terms of Use and applicable law.

5. Changes and contact

The Policy is publicly available and may be updated; Users are informed of material changes within the Application or by email. Questions concerning the Policy should be directed to: support@castmint.app.
