This is not for everyone.

Castmint generates every frame. That rules some people out, and it is better you know now.

You want real footage of yourself. Castmint does not film. You can lip-sync a photo to the voiceover, but it is generated, not recorded.

Your own video is the material. Clips you shot, screen recordings, product footage: there is no way to build the video out of those yet.

You cut on a timeline, frame by frame. You can reorder scenes, swap the voice, edit captions and add music. You cannot trim to the frame.

You want zero hands on the channel. Episodes render on their own, but publishing stays off until you switch it on per account, and you can pull any episode before its slot.

The things people ask first.

Do I need a camera or any footage?

No. Castmint generates every frame from your sentence: scenes, voiceover and word-timed captions. There is nothing to film and nothing to upload.

Will it look like every other AI video?

That depends more on your sentence than on the tool, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. A specific line, a place, a moment, a detail, gives a very different film than a vague topic. The six renders above are unedited, generated from exactly the lines printed under them.

What happens if a generation fails?

It costs you nothing. Whatever the attempt used is returned automatically, so you are never billed for a video you did not get.

Does it post by itself while I sleep?

Only if you switch auto-publish on for that account, and only for series episodes made after you turned it on. By default every video lands in your library and waits for you.

What do I get for free?

30 credits when you sign up: three short videos or one real AI film clip, with a small Castmint mark on the output. They do not renew. It is enough to see whether the thing works for your kind of content.
